Empowering students with the skills and confidence to excel in a dynamic world.
Welcome to Secondary School
May I take this opportunity to introduce myself as Ms Ola Deifallah, Head of Secondary. I am delighted to be joining Al Maha Academy for Girls and am inspired by the school’s clear vision, strong ethos, and commitment to nurturing confident, respectful, and ambitious young women. I look forward to getting to know our students, staff, and families as we work together to uphold and strengthen the high standards already in place.
As I begin this new chapter at Al Maha Academy for Girls, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all our students and families. It is a privilege to join a school community that places such strong emphasis on academic excellence, personal development, and Islamic values. I am very much looking forward to working in partnership with all our stakeholders as we continue to support our students in reaching their full potential.
At Al Maha, we believe that high expectations lead to high outcomes. This applies not only to academic achievement, but also to behaviour, conduct, and attitude to learning. A calm, respectful, and purposeful environment is essential for success, and we will continue to reinforce positive behaviour, accountability, and pride in one’s work. Our aim is to ensure that every student is challenged, supported, and encouraged to strive for excellence in all that she does.
Academic progress remains a key priority in Secondary. Our focus is on delivering a rigorous and well-structured curriculum, underpinned by high-quality teaching, effective assessment, and timely intervention. Alongside strong examination outcomes, we seek to develop independent learners who are resilient, reflective, and motivated. We want our students to leave Al Maha equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for future success.
Central to our work is the promotion of Islamic values and character education. We are committed to nurturing students who demonstrate respect, integrity, responsibility, and compassion in their daily lives. By embedding Islamic principles into school life, we aim to develop young women who are grounded in their faith, confident in their identity, and positive contributors to their communities.
We strongly value the partnership between home and school and encourage open communication and active parental engagement. Working together ensures the best possible outcomes for our students. I look forward to a productive and successful year ahead and to all that we will achieve together, insha’Allah.
Warm regards,
Ms Ola Deifallah
